The French artist considered irreverent, unconventional and free from artistic patterns of 900, is proposed in an exhibition curated by Stefano Cecchetto and Maurizio Vanni.
Dubuffet fights the idea of the conventions, it is an artist regardless of the places where he exhibited his works and is the first for himself than for others. The true artist must break out of what is known, must destroy the ordinariness, removing the mask civilized man, thus the emergence of each individual who has inside, wild, pure and amazingly unique.
For much of the organizers propose new works that recall the ties of the French and our country.
The exhibition seeks to retrace the path of Jean Dubuffet in Italy.
Excluding the strong relationship he had with the United States and some other occasions in Europe, Dubuffet in Italy since 1958 is that involvement that goes far beyond its commercial interests.
From the first exhibition in Milan at the "Ship" Charles Cardazzo in early ariticoli Renato Barilli, Lorenza Trucchi, Giuseppe Raimondi, until these are important monographs dedicated to the presentation of the cycle and the series of dell'Hourloupe Phénomènes (Palazzo Grassi, 1964) and show Coucou Bazar (Turin, 1978). Through the collection of documents and still works in Italy is meant to pay tribute, through more than 60 papers at a key moment in the history of art critics and collectors in Italy.
