The cave of the wind - Fornovolasco

"The cave of the wind", accessible through the village of Fornovolasco, is placed at the center of one of the most fascinating areas of the national park of the Apuane Alps, characterized by deep valleys, large rock faces and limestone peaks which dominate vast landscapes. The Grotta del Vento is one of the most important natural treasures across the Garfagnana. The interior of the cave is equipped with comfortable paths that allow you to admire all the wonders, living and brilliant stalactites and stalagmites, drapes of alabaster, crystal lakes, water courses and bizarre forms of erosion. The City of Vergemoli is also famous for the Shrine embedded in rock overlooking the valley of the Turrite Gallicano.
